I am a Spanish/English speaking caregiver of 3 years, who previously worked with an elderly woman in a very abstuve household. I actually became a voluntary caregiver due to the poor treatment of this woman and my duties included cleaning, medicine management, keeping a safe environment, changing, making food, showering, and companionship. I would also like to add that I would be delighted to take care of someone with diabetes, since I have it also. For prospective clients, I ask for: - To work in daylight hours, it doesn't matter if it's early, I feel safer driving during the day. - Preferably Spanish speaking, or bilingual.. I speak perfect Spanish and have gone to English school for 5 years, but I feel more comfortable with Spanish.
