My career in teaching began with a 3rd grade class. 20 years later, I am a substitute with Edmonds. School District since 2017. I have taught first grade for 2 years in Egypt, and excel in teaching English as a second or third language. My specialization is in Language Arts, and have recently completed a 2 year course in LETRS, and advanced and modern method for teaching Reading. Also, I've taught for 2 years at an alternative school and 1 full year at an orphanage as a Reading Specialist. Having taught 5th grade in North Carolina, my experience has taken me from coast to coast. Also I've taught in Monterey, CA, Bailey, CO, and my certification was from Texas, where I was born and raised.
