About Sally

Hi! Here is a little bit about me. I enjoy caring for children because they're profound, joyful and bright. I'm looking for a job that doesn't take me away from raising my own child, that is fulfilling nonetheless. Caring for children feels like my calling. Beginning my parenthood journey as a foster parent, to now having a biological child, has really caused me to reevaluate what a "successful career" looks like. I believe that for me, it's one in which small humans feel safe and cared about. I started working with kids when I was a preteen. Volunteering for an organization that cared for and shared companion ponies with children in need. Some of the places we visited were, the deaf school, children with physical or mental limitations, non verbal children or young adults, etc. Now, I spend my spare time with my daughter and family. Together we like to cook new vegan recipes, go on trail walks, watch movies, grow plants, and play with our American Bulldog or cats.
