About Salida

I am a certified nursing assistant of 14 years. I began working at a long term care facility. Where I gained experience with dementia and hospice patients. I am well trained with hoyer lifts, sit-to-stands, and gait belts. Some of my daily tasks were assisting with feeding, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and transferring from bed to wheelchair, and/or toilet and shower chair. I have about 8 years of homecare experience. I have worked with elderly, paraplegic, quadriplegics, and TBI patients. I was responsible for transporting to and from appointments, running errands and outings, providing companionship and safety. I am very patient and kind. Caring for others is truly my passion. I also have a special needs sibling, who I have assisted caring for since he was born.
