About Salena

Hello! I am a Doctoral candidate at Oklahoma State University, set to complete my PhD in Human Development and Family Sciences in May 2024. Alongside my doctoral studies, I hold a Graduate Certificate in Infant Mental Health and the Certified Family Life Educator credential. I am a seasoned professional in education and real life application. I am both infant safe sleep and infant/child CPR certified. My extensive experience includes over 10 years in various child care roles, from nannying and leading a daycare classroom to serving as a comprehensive child welfare specialist for OKDHS. As I approach the completion of my PhD, I am looking to assist a family in a supportive role until I graduate and transition into my long-term professional path.
