With over 4 years of hands-on experience in pet care, I understand the importance of creating a loving environment for your pet while maintaining proper nutrition, exercise, and cleanliness. I have two years of experience cleaning animal wards (veterinary medical exam rooms, kennels, and patient laundry) as an Animal Care Assistant with the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, two years of experience working as a PetCare Associate for PetSmart (mopping, wiping surfaces down, cleaning cages), five years of experience as a volunteer Animal Care Assistant with Effie Yeaw Nature Center, and a lifetime of experience caring for my own paws. In each position, I took the time to lovingly engage with the animals and made sure they felt seen.
