About Sadie

My name is Sadie and I am currently a Registered Nurse looking for part time work in caregiving. I have 2+ years of experience on a med surge unit, so I am familiar with medication management, assistance with ADLs while encouraging independence, mobilizing patients, wound care, and more- we see it all! I was a CNA before becoming a nurse and also have experience in helping family members manage illnesses and care, taking them to appointments and helping with their medications. I have two cats, Ziggy and Remi, who keep me sane but at the same time drive me crazy every day! I love hands-on hobbies such as painting and baking bread. I like keeping busy but also enjoy relaxing on the couch with a good book. I'm looking for a job that will give me a sense of purpose and accomplishment in caring for one person over a period of time. I'd like to care for someone who I could take my time getting to know so I am able to anticipate their needs and genuinely be a source of relief for them.
