The last boy I tutored went from failing to A's in 2. 5 weeks! I've been working with kids since I was 13. I have 3 years tutoring experience, primarily with preschool-middle school children, and my expertise is in Math and Science, though I have also helped with reading/theater/sports/group dynamics. I've been known by teachers and parents to break down barriers with active learning, conversation, and understanding that kids need to be inspired to learn instead of forced, as it often feels in a classroom. I like to make learning a fun experience, with real world examples and objects, and sometimes using food/baking as learning tools or incentives for positive reinforcement.
