About Sabrina

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, energetic, and imaginative; and I enjoy working with children because I am helping to shape their mind through educational and imaginative play. I started working with children when I was in high school (just over 10 years ago) and I have experience caring for varied age groups (1-week-old - teenagers) as well as disability statuses. One thing you should know about me is I like to think of myself as an extension of the parental unit with a family. I don't mean I am a replacement for mom or dad (no one can replicate that) but before working with the children I like to have a full grasp on your parenting style/techniques as to give continuity to the children. I am a former CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). I currently am employed through a nonprofit organization affiliated with the state of NJ as a Program Director for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities where I oversee three group homes during the day.
