Both my parents passed away very young. After college, I had to decide If I should move or stay home to care for my parents. I chose to stay with them. Moved in and got my CNA. It motivated me to give my parents the best care possible and constantly show them my love and appreciation for giving my a good life. It was very challenging for me at a young age but it made me a better person today. When I tell my grown children my story they always tell me that this was my calling. After being an at home mom, I went back into the work force In the Lakeland Central schools and have been working with the children in our Life Skills Program. In the summers I work with autistic children in the elementary school. A friend of mine introduced me to an elderly couple over 9 years ago. We got along so well and they asked if I would be interested in taking care of them on a part time basis. It has been one of the best experiences. It affirmed my passion for nurturing the elderly once again

Sabine is a very kind and caring person who provides a calming care anyone would want for their loved one. Her attention to detail and proactive attention is very helpful to provide that wonderful care. She is excellent with communication with other staff members and is a true team player who is always flexible and available for adjusting schedules when it was necessary. She provided continual care for over 10 years and for a elderly women who benefited greatly from her loving care. Highly recommend.
