In 2022, I assisted in caretaking for my grandmother who had to move home due to health decline. This ignited my passion for helping others. More recently in 2024, I was a live-in caretaker for an elderly woman suffering from dementia. I aided her in diaper changes, general hygiene care, administered medications, bandage and wound care, transportation to appointments, lifting and transferring her once she became immobile, cooking, feeding and general house care such as laundry and dishes. Above all, I was a companion and a friend to her. We shared many laughs and wonderful memories. I am dedicated to providing compassionate and reliable support to individuals who need assistance with daily tasks and personal care. I hired Ryan as the primary caretaker of my grandmother through her moderate to final stages of dementia. She was reluctant to accept that she needed care, but Ryan's calm and gentle demeanor reassured her in her moments of confusion and fear. Ryan put a lot of thought and energy into her care, going above and beyond in every way. He has the gift of gab and kept my grandmother engaged as her faculties gradually diminished. She was very fortunate to have Ryan by her side to look after her during difficult times.
