About Ryan

As a tutor, I have worked with many students from varying backgrounds, age groups, and abilities. I have experience working with homeschool, private school, and public school students here in North Texas from ages 6-18 in subjects including math, writing, and high school physics. I have helped autistic children, struggling to keep up with grade level material, as well as teenagers seeking early college enrollment. As a person with ADHD, I often find myself able to connect with kids struggling with focus and comprehension issues in ways others may not. My goal as a teacher is to ensure maximum growth and improvement in student performance by simplifying more complex concepts and encouraging creative problem solving. Additionally, I have recently begun taking students seeking dyslexia therapy through Alphabetic phonics.
