Hello! I'm Rayan Abdel, currently pursuing my bachelor's degree at the University of Texas, Austin, with a major in Special Education and a minor in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. My academic journey includes a deep focus on behavioral sciences, which equips me with the skills to understand and support diverse behavioral needs effectively. This expertise is particularly beneficial in caregiving roles, where tailored communication and intervention strategies are crucial. Throughout my educational path, I have actively engaged in leadership and advocacy roles. In high school, I served as the president of the Special Education Club, organizing events and fostering an inclusive community. Currently, I am involved with the Best Buddies organization at college, which focuses on one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
