My name is Rut (sounds like Root) I have been a full-time nanny for the past 6 years and am looking for a nanny/babysitting position. I am 28 years old and a college student. The families I have worked for have called me outgoing, creative, responsible and caring. I have experience with kids ages 3 months to 12 years. I also have some experience with special needs children including Autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome. I have cared for 6-month-old infant twins and other small infants full time. I like to take older kids outside to play and am a strong swimmer. I can also do educational activities. When your kids are with me, you can feel confident that they are safe. I am used to working long hours with children and can also provide overnight care. I am a good driver, can prepare light meals and run errands like grocery shopping. Rut is very caring and patient with my special needs daughter. She is great at making her laugh and plans activities for them to do together. It is very difficult for a special needs parent to find that special kind of person who genuinely loves caring for others. Rut treats my daughter like an ordinary teenager and it's very clear that she enjoys her job. We feel blessed to have her and consider her family.
