About Ruthy

My name is Ruthy, I have been a part time nanny/babysitter for a few summers, and am an Aunt of a lovely 2-year-old who I've spent time taking care of since she was 6 months. Now that I've finished school with degrees in Psychology and Dance, I'm working as a dance teacher for children 8-13 y/o. I am a creative, detail oriented, and gentle person and I believe these qualities make me a wonderful care taker for young children. I am comfortable with animals and happy to help with pet care as well as some cleaning or helpful chores while a child naps. I have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record. In my free time I love to make art of all kinds, drawing, painting, dancing, writing, and working on my armature guitar skills. I think having a gentle and creative approach to engagement helps me connect with young children in a stimulating way on their own terms.
