About Ruth

Hi there! As a current graduate student in statistics, with over four years of professional experience tutoring and teaching math and statistics, I'm well versed in helping students master tricky concepts! I love facilitating those ah-ha! moments and watching a struggling student start to connect the dots in their understanding. I've been lucky to aid many students in earning a grade they didn't originally imagine possible. The most fulfilling moments I've had have been working with students really struggling with material and seeing how their hard work pays off, and sometimes, even seeing them start to really like the subject by the end of the semester! I'm always eager to have more opportunities to use my teaching skills, especially in math and statistics, English, psychology, and hard sciences!
