About Ruth

I have known Ruth for 5+ years. She came into my life as a complete Godsend and I instantly felt comfortable enough to break down in tears just after meeting her since I was disabled and could no longer manage my life. She was so kind and compassionate and never made me feel anything but comforted about what I was going thru and most importantly, never judged. She was willing to help in any and all ways, including cleaning, sorting things for me (essentially was at hoarder status and was very embarrassed by my inability to do things for myself I used to be able to do). Laundry, cooking.. you name it. She did it. And wanted to help in anyway necessary and was so genuine in her caring about others. She also helped my elderly mom at the same time. Then, when my father in law became far more disabled than my mom or myself, she transitioned to being one of the most loving caretakers one could imagine for him. Our whole family is so grateful he had her and while my mom and I missed her for help that she provided us, we all recognized his needs were much more pressing and critical. He just recently passed on. And she was there for several years, taking care of anything he needed and he absolutely adored her. At the end, she choose to sleep on recliner, on floor, anything so he would not be alone at the end. And he wasn't. She was there until the end. I can't say enough good things about such a loving, caring, generous person. I am so grateful she was brought into all of our lives and continues to be there for us.
