About Ruth

Ruth was our nanny for two years. Over the past two years she provided excellent care for our two children, ages 2 and 6. Prior to finding Ruth, I was worried we may never find a good fit for our family- someone we could trust to provide loving care to our kids. When we found Ruth, it was truly a blessing and she is someone we now call family. Ruth was always dependable and consistent with her schedule, which was helpful to our hectic lives. During the two years she was with us, she never missed a day of work. She provided consistency and was great at keeping the kids on track with meals, homework and various other chores. Because of her efficiency, we have adopted some of her practices in our home and still use them today. She was very organized and often assisted us with keeping track of important school/extracurricular activities. She was great with helping my 6 year old with his homework and would work with my younger daughter on beginner skills for Pre-K. She was the perfect balance of discipline and love. Ruth always went above and beyond, offering to run to the store if we needed groceries, organizing the kids toys/rooms, and offering to assist in running the kids too their activities. But what really made Ruth special was the extra, unexpected things she did for my kids such as creating special projects for them during the holidays, getting them special treats they wanted, and making them personalized shirts, which they loved! Over the years, she has shown unconditional love to our whole family. The only reason she is no longer with us is because both kids are now in school. We still reach out to her when we need a babysitter and the kids are always very excited to see her. Anyone who is lucky enough have Ruth as a nanny, will be very pleased.
