About Ruth

I'd describe my personality as kind, easygoing, and curious. I am widow in my late 50s. I have always enjoyed working with young people. Started babysitting back in high school. worked as a nanny and a camp counselor. After college, I worked with special needs kids, so am comfortable with kids who might have unique needs or behaviors. Since then, I had a career in the corporate world, but continued to be involved with kids, including as a volunteer big sister (Boston, Mass), and a very involved aunt! In my spare time, I like to read, paint, take walks, bake. I have a car and am fine with pets. Am happy to do food prep or cleaning as needed! Imagination, patience, and a sense of humor are my strengths! I look forward to meeting you and your family!
