About Ruth

Hello! My name is Ruthie , and I am a child and adolescent speech pathologist student at UTC. As a passionate and experienced childcare provider with three years in the field, I find great joy in supporting families and making a positive impact on children's lives. My previous babysitting roles solidified my desire to become a caregiver, and I'm motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a child's development. I believe that patience, creativity, and a friendly demeanor are essential qualities for a childcare provider. I strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to explore their interests. Open communication with parents is a priority for me, and I provide daily written reports, verbal updates during pickup, and regular text or phone call updates. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and believe in setting clear boundaries while still allowing children to express themselves.
