I have many years of experience working with individuals who have challenges. I have worked in group homes with independent residents who needed supervision in their daily activities, such as cooking and cleaning, bathing, and medication reminders. I have worked in respite, serving people, from infant to senior, with a variety of diagnoses, such as Down Syndrome, ADHD, Asphergers, etc. Some of my duties were taking people out in the community to socialize, meal supervision or meal assistance, medication, teaching new tasks, playing, and companionship supervision. My services range from grocery shopping, respite care, either for a few hours or overnight, medication reminders, light meal preparation, supervise eating and bathing, play time, companionship and safety.
