About Ruth

As a parent and grandparent, I am a compassionate, caring and experienced individual with a passion for nurturing children's growth and development. I am happy to provide a safe and stimulating environment for your child. My patient and friendly nature allows me to connect with children effortlessly. As a young retiree, I am new to the this field as employment, but I started babysitting when I was 11 years old, raised three children, have cared for several nieces and nephews and have been a substitute pre-school aide. I also have experience with individuals on the spectrum. Additionally, I have a college degree and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I'm comfortable caring for babies or toddlers on up to elementary school. I am a non-smoker and I have my own transportation and a clean driving record. I am comfortable with pets. I am interested in one-time or part- time positions.
