Home health care is something deeply personal to me. I have done in home care for an individual who was quadriplegic. Full transparency, it was not my background, so my first week was training. Duties included: meals, personal hygiene, transportation to appointments, laundry, outdoor activities, scheduling, dressing, Journaling her days for her doctors & family, medicine distribution, communicating with doctors, family and others on her care team. Those are "duties" I fulfilled. But the bigger picture is, I cared for her. I became a trusted, dependable part of the family. Raising 6 kids on my own, I am adept at managing schedules, recording new or ongoing events, speaking with health care professionals and family, and adhering to already established routines. My communication skills are impeccable and I'm a quick learner. My aim is to provide your loved one with safe, loving care as of they are my own family. How may I serve you best?
