About Ruby

My childcare and love for working with kiddos started when I was in middle school, working in my community nursery, continuing as I volunteered to work with younger youth in my community throughout high school. The summer of 2012 and 2013, I was a nanny for 4 kids, ages 4-13. In the summer of 2015, I was an overnight camp counselor. And following that summer, I coached gymnastics to children ages 3-12 for 3 years. In 2018 I nannied for 9 different kids between the ages of 1 and 8. In 2020 I nannied two infants through their first year of life, and occasionally cared for a then 6-year-old, who I still care for from time to time. I am now a parent of an awesome 1-year-old and I teach middle school science. I love the outdoors and value active learning. I am an active person, and I love engaging with the creativity and imagination of children. I am looking for a job over the summer that allows me to make a little extra money while spending time with my daughter and other kiddos!
