About Ruby

Hello prospective families! I've been nannying both independently and through an agency, for families of all makeups for over a decade. My experience covers caring for children as young as newborn and premature babies, toddlers through school age kids to teens, including volunteering with a summer camp I've been working at for 13 years. I'm creative, fun, positive and not afraid to get goofy. I love to play inside, to read (and be read to) and run around outside. I have lots of cooking experience as well and often do light house cleaning while I'm working. I enjoy reading about attachment theory and applying it to my job of giving high quality care to the child(ren) I'm working with, especially in babies and toddlers in the first two years of life. When they feel safe, seen and validated they can navigate their world with confidence knowing I am right there. I look forward to hearing from you! Ruby
