About Ruby

Hi, I'm a CPR and First Aid certified educator with 7 years of professional childcare experience! I bring my adventurous spirit, love of crafts, and endless patience to all of my childcare endeavors. I'm a teaching artist with Chicago Children's Theatre where I play games, make crafts, and facilitate imaginative play with kids aged 4-14. I also spent two years as a library assistant at Evanston Public Library where I taught crochet, zine-making, poetry, gardening, and more to teens, and I've nannied/babysat for kids aged 12 months to 12 years. I also enjoy cooking/baking, organizing, and caring for plants, so if there's anything else I can do around the house I'm happy to help.
