About Ruby

I have over a 20 years of nanny experience with children of all ages (I am the oldest girl in a family of 30 first cousins). I am CPR and First Aid certified, have been Trustlined, and I adore children! I can provide email contact information for several families I've worked for upon request. Besides that? I studied English and Theatre in school with a minor in Education. moved to Chicago from Brooklyn over a decade ago. My favorite things to do with young children include reading books, singing, dancing, running around outside, gardening, examining bugs, baking together, making up stories and illustrating them, playing tag, riding bikes and pretending to be bats. I also have years of tutoring experience in schools and with Kaplan. I generally get around by bicycle and public transport, as I have a (clean) driver's license but no car. I get up early, I usually have lots of energy and I enjoy nannying more than any other job I've tried!
