About Rubi

Hi, my name is Rubi! I was a college student majoring in Early Childhood Education before the pandemic and was in search of finding a position in my desired field to pay for my tuition. Since then, I've realized that I have more of a passion to help bring up the next generation with a different approach- something more personal. I am patient, responsible, energetic, and caring. My strong suits are problem-solving, meal prep, cleaning, encouraging children to be comfortable in social situations, teaching positive communication, basic manners, etc. One weakness is getting attached to a family after we've bonded. I have experience in working with children of all ages. With special needs, as well as able children and have spent over 6 years caring for children. I don't smoke and am CPR & First Aid certified, as well as comfortable with pets. It's my passion to work with kids because it makes me happy to see the growth that children develop over time. My schedule is flexible.
