About Roy

I worked for a little over a year with 2 senior individuals who were wheel chair bound. I helped with cooking, cleaning, laundry, running errands and occasionally making phone calls on their behalf. I spent time offering an ear for companionship and occasionally helping with physical therapy and speech exercises. I enjoy learning and listening to elders stories and being in the presence of someone who has lived a full life. I'm also a licensed massage therapist as well as Thai massage and certified yoga teacher. I have been practicing for about 8 years now and these practices definitely inform my care and attentiveness to the people I provide companionship. I watched my dad caregiver my grandmother and know how much help can be needed during this phase of life. I am eager to share my abilities to provide help in these situation to families in need!
