About Roxanne

I have worked with children for over 10 years now! Though my background is in biology, I have worked professionally in education for years. I taught STEAM through Mad Science and Girls Inc, as well as worked in outdoor education and gardening programs with children at Boyd Hill, Edible Peace Patch, and at summer camp in California. I have been a nanny for newborns through middle school age. My cumulative knowledge and experience includes care, first aid (Wilderness First Responder Certified), education, and most importantly - how to have fun! I enjoy outdoor activities, kayaking, working with animals (especially horses), gardening, and enjoying all the beauty Florida has to offer. I find that I enjoy the one on one engagement with children over a classroom settings, and am excited to find the right family to work with!
