I am the proud mother of a recent high school graduate who is autistic and has ADHD. I am also stepmother to an 12-year-old. During the school year I work for the MPPS district as a special education paraprofessional. Though my current position is working with MICI HS students, I have experience working with kiddos of all ages. I'm a kid at heart who is very empathetic and intuitive, able to anticipate others needs and meet them. I spent over 20 years in the restaurant business, then five years doing administrative work before I started substitute teaching. I've also held jobs as a nanny to twins with special needs and as an ABA therapist. I'm a planner who is great at sticking to a schedule while remaining flexible and able to punt! Many students in my classroom tell me I am their favorite. I'm dependable, have a great sense of humor and my focus is always on keeping any child in my care safe and secure.
