Hello, I have been Caring for others since 2009. Majority of my experience is in Home Care, I have worked at one of the most prestigious Assisted Living communities in the Monterey bay The Park Lane. I worked there as a full time Med Aid/Caregiver. I have experience with patients with Alzheimer s, Dementia, Vertigo, Diabetes, Macular Degeneration, Muscular Scrosis, Parkinson s and Strokes. Furthermore, I have experience with patients that are on Hospice, I am familiar with the comfort kit, patients that are bed bound, patients that are wheel chair bound, and patients with an amputation and also patients with a feeding tube. I know how to take vital signs, use an ECG machine and I have basic knowledge of medical terminology. I m used to conducting activities and daily exercises. As a Caregiver I assisted with all activities of daily living Dental hygiene, Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, and Medication. I will cook client s meals, do minor housekeeping.
