As a nanny, I have extensive experience with newborns, toddlers and older children, including larger families with 3 +kids. I also have experience taking care of elderly and sick people. I am a good cook, and am used to making 3 meals a day for the families I have worked with. I make well-balanced, healthy meals, with low salt and low fat ingredients. I am happy to accommodate for dietary restrictions. In addition, I can balance many tasks including doing laundry, housekeeping and errand running, yet I do not drive. I live in Bethesda and manage well with Uber and public transportation. I am up to date with vaccines, including both COVID Moderna shots. Rowena cared for our daughter starting at 3 months old until she was about 1 year old. Rowena was extremely dependable, never missed a single day and arrived early to our house every day. She is extremely caring and I know she genuinely cares for our daughter; and always spoke fondly of the other children she has cared for. She also did laundry, cooking, and cleaning for us while the baby napped, and made meals for our daughter as well. Rowena's was a tremendous help for us and became a part of our family, and we are sad to say goodbye to her.
