About Rowan

People who know me would likely describe me as warm, empathetic, creative and inclusive. I take care in supporting kids in feeling comfortable and cared for unconditionally. Much of my social work career has been focused on young people, education, or a combination of both. My goal is for folks to feel affirmed and supported in being their fullest selves. I prioritize open communication with parents, using their preferred method to discuss their child's day, highlights, or concerns. My extensive experience caring for/working with children of all ages, from infants to teens has made me quite comfortable with all ages and developmental stages. My favorite activities to facilitate with kids include arts and crafts, reading, and outdoor activities. I hold a graduate degree in Social Work and am also a certified yoga children's teacher (95hr) and adult yoga teacher. I am vaccinated and boosted, comfortable wearing a mask. I have my own car, clean driving record, and LOVE pets.
