About Rowan

Hi! My name is Rowan (they/them). I'm a part time teaching artist for K-8 and a tattoo artist, I'm starting a MLIS in fall to become a youth librarian. I enjoy picture books, crafting, and playing with makeup and fashion. I have a passion for mental health, integrating what I learn about neurodivergence, emotional regulation, gentle parenting and interpersonal communication into my teaching and personal relationships. I think communication with guardians is important, and am happy to make time to discuss updates, recaps and tackle concerns. I live in a disabled household and have experience caring for autoimmune disorders, giving IM injections, and I'm bloodborne pathogen certified with a tattoo license.
