About Rowan

Hi there! My name is Rowan, I recently got married, finished my first year teaching (I taught 1st grade for CCPS) and after spending 8 years in school I'm taking a bit of a gap year. I have 10+ years experience with children ages 6 weeks to 10 years old. I have a bachelors in early and elementary education and a masters in elementary and special education. I am currently teaching part-time in a resource position at a private school and am looking for a family to work with on my days off. Notable qualities are that I am calm, patient, reliable, and creative. I like to keep busy and enjoy watching kids learn and grow while having fun. Personally, I love to do crafts, read books, imaginative play, and play outside. I am willing to help with some house work if requested and have some flexibility within my schedule. I look forward to getting to know you and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for your kiddos.
