I started working in Group Homes in 2009, have 3 years of case management experience, and for the last 5 years have been supporting people who live in their own homes or live with family. I will provide professional level support services with honesty, kindness, empathy, and respect. I have excellent documentation skills and will follow a plan as it is written. I have extensive knowledge of Behavior Supports and I have always had a soft spot for people who display at risk behavior. I can't provide any protective physical intervention and can't run after someone who elopes, if they are slower, I'm happy to follow :) I have supported people with a variety of different support needs and diagnosis. I am a quick learner, take feedback well, and will provide support that I would be satisfied with if it were my own family member. I have completed many ongoing education trainings and classes. I am a strong advocate for people with disabilities and treat people I support with respect.
