About Rose

I am a quiet, patient and compassionate tutor. I like tutoring because I love engaging with young people and helping them learn! I enjoy academics because it is meaningful and engaging. Math tutoring is my favorite, but I enjoy tutoring other subjects as well. I started tutoring seven months ago with Eclipse tutoring and I am still working at Eclipse! I am looking on this platform to find additional hours! In my spare time, I like to crochet, spend time outside, hang out with my pets and stay active! One thing you should know about me is that I care about kids learning and applying material in a way that they really understand. Sometimes, in order to understand things well you have to keep a beginner's mind and proceed slowly and methodically. Learning is foundational, so it is important to take things one step at a time and to keep up a solid effort over time. My skills include active listening, creativity and patience.
