My parents wanted to live out their years as long as possible in their house. I was in charge of making this a reality and when it became clear they were struggling, I hired a number of caregivers. None lasted very long until Rosa came along. She immediately captured my parents hearts with her kindness. But that wasn't all. She was charged with companionship as well as cooking, bathing, shopping, delivering the proper medicines on time as well as doctor visits. She did it all with grace and respect, always keeping my parents dignity at the forefront. My parents have progressed beyond the point of home health care and we are sad to move to the final chapter of their lives. But Rosa will forever be in our hearts. She was truly one of the family.
