Growing up with a blended family of 8, I'm dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of all ages. My creativity and friendliness allow me to connect easily with children, making their time with me both enjoyable and educational. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, ensuring their peace of mind while their children are in my care. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, both indoor and outdoor, and I'm always looking for new ways to make learning fun. I hold current certifications in First Aid Training and CPR Training. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel. Working with Rosa was such a great experience for myself and my little one. She truly cares about the families she works with and it shows in how she interacts with us. My toddler was always extremely happy to hang out with her, she would play with him, make sure he ate his meals and just overall take care of him like he was her own family. Her kindness didn’t just extend to him, she was always conscious of mirroring my parenting style and would often times take actions to make it easier for me to take care of my son and I noticed. Whether that would be just distracting him so I can make dinner in peace, or having him choose books ahead of our bedtime routine so I can focus on connecting with him and going through the bedtime routine, or even just finding healthy ways for him to burn off his excess energy (like taking him for an extended walk with her amazing fur baby Theo). She was always looking for ways to anticipate my and my toddler’s needs and it made trusting her and working with her a dream.
