About Rosanne

I have worked with children for all of my adult life. I am winding down now at 62 this summer. But would like some part time jobs to bring in enough to pay the bills, but do what I love- work with kids! I have been an award winning foster parent, a preschool teacher, an ASL school interpreter, ABA 1:1 paraprofessional and a mentor/ fundraiser in my career in the public and private education system. I have worked with preschool all the way up to college settings. I am currently working in a local high school, splitting my time as an educational paraprofessional and a support ABA for a young man with Autism. I have one job right now that I would like to do more of and that is working with a nonverbal toddler who has speech therapy, but is not making much progress. I once a week come in for about 1 hour and we play and sign. Her communication has in the 2 months grown hugely. She can answer questions and too her mom " I love you" verbally for the first time!
