My great-grandma, Gee Gee, was 105 before she passed away. I grew up learning how to do jig saw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. But most of all I loved hearing her stories and life wisdom which gave me a deep love to spend time with the elderly. In college I helped an elderly couple for several months, with the wife who had dementia. I also helped a visually impaired adult once a week. It fills me up to serve tangible and spend time with others who need help around the home and with errands.
