I am an Elementary Teacher with 26 years of teaching experience. I've taught mostly Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade throughout my teaching career. I mostly tutor in the areas of phonics, reading, writing, English, math, and Spanish for Kindergarten-4th Grade. I am also Orton-Gillingham trained and very familiar with the Science of Reading. Additionally, I tutor in Spanish as a native Spanish speaker and certified Spanish, Bilingual/Dual Language Teacher. I am fluent in both languages and can tutor in both. I do not speak with an accent as I was born here in the U. S. I create personalized, engaging lessons for my students and they enjoy our fun-filled lessons. Rosalie is a wealth of information and resources on children's literacy. She is patient but has the ability to keep kids focused on the task at hand. She helped my son catch up to his classmates in reading when the education system failed him and when he fell behind, they refused to help him. I can't thank her enough! She truly cares about your child's success.
