I have cared for children for many years. I enjoy helping them learn and be creative; including teaching them to be bilingual. My child care experience has included raising my own children, owning and working in a daycare with 25 children, and now single family oriented style care, which has included working with special needs children. I find working with a small number gives the children much needed attention, especially in the early years. The benefit of a small group is easy to change the environment, we can play and go on outings. I was recently sitting for a family with children ages 1-3. I am looking for a full-time and long term position. I look forward to hearing from you.

Rochy was the primary nanny for our 2.5 year old daughter since she was 4 months. She came to really be part of our family and we all loved her so much! She would work with us to arrange time for breast feeding. Once our daughter was older she fed her meals and snacks, and overall she always ate well. Walks to the park were frequent, a great opportunity for socialization with other kids. At home, they would play with toys, listen to songs, read books, or play outside. She always came up with fun things to do and she even bought toys as gifts - some ended up being our daughter's most loved items. Rochy emptied the diaper pail, did our daughter's laundry, changed bed sheets, folded and put away clothes. Play areas were cleaned when Rochy left and she did the dishes if she had extra time. Overall, our daughter's well being and basic care was something we never worried about, and she loved, nurtured, engaged and cared for her like she was her own grandchild. 110% recommended!! - Amanda
