About Rory

In 2019, I served with Americorps in Chicago, IL where I tutored 6th, 7th and 8th graders in English language arts and assisted in their classrooms. After completing this 1 year program, I went on to the University of New Mexico where I began studying education. During this journey, I found Montessori education and decided to pursue it instead. In 2022, I went through the process of receiving my diploma (from the Association of Montessori International) which gave me lots of insight into theory and the methodology of guiding children aged 2 - 6 throughout their educational journey utilizing the Montessori theory. I recently completed a year of teaching full time in a classroom and it was wonderful. Now, I am looking to help others with my Montessori knowledge and learn more along the way.
