About Romy

I am a 28-year-old experienced babysitter living in Brooklyn since 2019. I grew up in Peru, where my love for caregiving began. After high school, I took a gap year to work in a kindergarten in Lima, where I cared for children ages 1-5. I subsequently graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in IT and Photojournalism. Since then, I've gained even more experience working with kids of all ages and providing pet care, too! I believe in creating meaningful and fun experiences for the people I care for. Art is a big part of my life, so I love incorporating creative activities into my care, whether it's individual or group art sessions. I'm applying for a Master's degree in Art Therapy, hopefully starting Fall 2025.
