If you need a few hours to get a break, I can help! My hours are a little flexible, please message me to discuss. I'm willing to consider weekend hours at an additional pay rate. Having cared for my mother in her later years, after suffering a stroke, I know how stressful it can be. Oftentimes I needed another person who could visit for a few hours to give me a much needed break or allow me to get things done outside the home. I'm a lifelong LI resident, married over 30 years, and raised a daughter. After a career in horticulture I was a nanny for 3 little girls for 5 years. Currently I have a part time commitment as a companion to a senior with dementia. As part of the care I give, I'm able to try to engage your family member in conversation, cook light meals, and sit with them ensuring they eat. I'm able to do light housekeeping, grocery runs, pharmacy pick ups. I am not a home health aide, so personal care is not within my scope.
