10+ years providing specialized care, skill development and learning services to children, adults and seniors with exceptional needs and abilities. I have worked persons with special needs for many years and within a wide variety of environments, including elementary, middle and high school classrooms, family homes, group homes, adult and child foster care, behavioral health and vocational training settings. I have 2 children with special needs, a son challenged by Autism/Asperger's Syndrome and a daughter with speech/communication deficits, together with sensory integration challenges and ADHD. Both are in college now and routinely on the A/B Honor Roll each semester.
