About Robyn

My first full-time (40 hours) babysitting position was at the age of 11 for an 18-month-old and 5-year-old. Throughout junior high and high school, I babysat regularly for many families. I spent one year as a live-in nanny in Pacific Palisades, California. I ran my own home licensed daycare for seven years, implementing my own preschool program for the 2 to 4-year-olds. I also have one year experience large home daycare with one additional licensed provider. As you can see, I have many years in the child care field. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and can't imagine my life without caring for little ones in some capacity. My favorite ages are newborn to toddlers. They are learning at such a rapid rate and I feel I can be an instrumental part of that when mom and/or dad are off at work. I will absolutely carry out the philosophies the family already has in place to ensure consistency. I indicated that I do not currently have CPR and First Aid. I have been certified at least 10 times in the past and will be bringing that up to date January 14th. I would like to add that for the last eight years I have served as a Teacher Librarian as well as two years substitute teaching, both at the elementary and middle school level.
