About Robyn

I volunteered for years at my local pet store feeding, caring for, cleaning up after, and socializing animals (including birds, rodents, ferrets, rabbits, dogs, and cats). I spent several summers caring for my neighbors cats, of which at one point there were 13, including 6 nursing kittens. I have personally taken in directly from the street, nursed back to health, fostered, and then found families for about 7 stray cats (most at once). I now have 2 old cats, but had 3 for most of my life, and I still work with stray and wild cats (currently socializing a litter of 4 wild kittens). I had fish and birds for years, and many hamsters (at one point about 11 hamsters due to the pregnancy of one). I volunteered at a parrot shelter. I am very good with rabbits and guinea pigs. I LOVE dogs, and will stop just about any dog-walker to play with their dog, and I have experience walking, caring for, and playing with dogs because my friends have dogs (including giant pit-bulls). I am an inherently compassionate and very bubbly person; I put animals at ease because I am very respectful and have their best interests at heart. Trust is crucial: they read what's in your heart.
